Local country musicians DuWayne and Rhonda Heyd's "I Love You Because" peaked at No. 3 on the Roots True Country Song Chart.

The couple reside in Grand Forks and recorded the album in Nashville.

"I Love You Because" has been played on radio stations in more than 40 countries and peaked at No. 3 for the week of Jan. 7.

The song also finished at No. 29 on the Roots True Country Song Chart of 2014.
